To get to linux again press ctrl+alt+t, type "shell" then "sudo startkde, or if Linux is active press ctrl+alt+shift+«(F2) or ctrl+alt+shift+»(F1) to switch between Linux and Chrome OS. But it crashes, and lags every so often and some times crashes the Chromebook it self. Install openGl in the linux console by typing "sudo apt-get install libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-trusty:i386". When you open steam it will say that openGL is not installed.
In linux download steam from the website and install it by typing in the console, "sudo dpkg -i b". After that type, "sudo startkde" and you will boot into linux. When it's done type in a username and password. That will install linux ubuntu to your Chromebook. Type in the console "shell" then, "sudo ~/Downloads/crouton -t kde -r trusty". Now you need to download crouton from, then press ctr+alt+t and that opens up a console. It will boot into dev mode, and delete all local data. If you’re into sci-fi, that will be a good mix for you.IMPORTANT EDIT: Back up all files before doing this, since it deletes everything.įirst you put the Chromebook in dev mode by pressing esc+f3+power it will pop into recovery mode. However, Starbound is a similar game with a space theme. It takes the boring, repetitive, tasks and throws them out the window. Terraria stands out with its unique approach to the survival genre. The more you gather, the more space you’ll need to keep all the stuff. All the different combinations of items, be it common or rare, will provoke your creative side and the hoarder in you that you didn’t know was there. Add multiplayer to the mix, and you’ve got yourself a game you can play for years without even the scent of boredom. Exploring this game requires hours upon hours of time. But, you’ll need to stay on top of a plethora of other things. There’s no need to monitor hunger or oxygen, which are ever present in other similar titles. Your character isn’t very customizable, but your experiences will always be unique. Jump into a world full of wonders, magic, and places to explore.
